New Trailer of "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides"

Disney Pictures has released a brand-new trailer of the upcoming Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.

Searching for the fabled Fountain of Youth, Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) goes on adventure with a new character Angelica (Penelope Cruz), a woman from his past. Old characters we loved that are still present in the sequel are Blackbeard (Ian McShane), Captain Hector Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush), and Joshamee Gibbs (Kevin R. McNally) among others.

Although helmed by new director Rob Marshall (the first three installments were by Gore Verbinski), I'm sure the movie will still be a hit. Judging by the trailer, On Stranger Tides has a more intense adventure scenes and Johnny Depp still has the comedic charms known from the previous movies.

Anyway, the screenplay was still by Ted Elliott and Terry Rossio and I'm sure they know what the fans of the movie franchise like.

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides opens May 20, 2011.
